Appointment
Originally from Cincinnati, Dr. Goel has a unique skill set spanning the specialties of Internal Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Anesthesia.

After securing her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and completing her internship in Internal Medicine at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, Dr. Goel went on to complete her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Tufts-New England Medical Center (Boston) and an Interventional Pain Management and Spine Fellowship in Anesthesia at UNC Medical Center (Chapel Hill).

When asked why she chose to pursue pain management, Dr. Goel stated, “It seemed like a logical extension of what I was working to achieve in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. As a physician who is able to diagnose the source of my patient’s pain, recommend treatment plans and provide direction intervention when necessary, I can offer my patients more options.”

At BNA NeuroSpine and Rehab, Dr. Goel helps coordinate the Pain Management program and provide interventional patient treatment, such as medial branch nerve blocks and facet injections, sacroiliac (SI) joint blocks, peripheral joint injections, epidurals, radiofrequency ablation of nerves, implantation of spinal cord stimulators, and more. She is qualified to work on both the cervical and lumbar spine.
